Mustafa Akcanca brings deep experience building high-reliability systems at scale, with a track record spanning AI systems, infrastructure, and mission-critical software.

Prior to Qorra, Mustafa contributed to advanced AI development through work with OpenAI, helping improve conversational model performance and supporting responsible model development practices. He then worked with Meta on large-scale systems, building tooling and automation to monitor and optimize production fleets under strict SLAs—improving operational efficiency and reducing maintenance overhead in high-availability environments.

Mustafa previously co-founded Takyon Ai, where he raised $1.2M and led the development of AI-driven products from concept through deployment. This included CoronApp—supported through Facebook’s Coronathon Challenge and deployed across multiple countries to help combat the spread of COVID-19—as well as privacy-aware data systems and applied computer vision solutions delivered for enterprise use cases.

Earlier in his career, he led engineering efforts at Ancha Space Technologies, contributing to an open-source space mission initiative and reaching the finals of the European Rover Challenge. Across these roles, Mustafa combines technical rigor with strong leadership to build secure, resilient systems designed for real-world deployment in high-stakes environments.
