Joe Dustin is a clinical research technology strategist with 20+ years of experience driving digital transformation across life sciences and eClinical technology. He has held senior leadership roles at Medidata Solutions, Bristol Myers Squibb, Medable, and Biofourmis, working at the intersection of clinical operations, product strategy, and technology adoption across eCOA, eSource, and decentralized trial models.

Across his career, Joe has led initiatives that translate emerging technology into real-world impact, helping scale Medidata’s Patient Cloud eCOA from concept into a ~$50M product line, and supporting pilots and implementations at Bristol Myers Squibb associated with a 44% reduction in cycle times.

Today, Joe is the Founder and Principal of Dauntless eClinical Strategies, advising pharmaceutical companies, technology providers, investors, and executives on product strategy, go-to-market, and the adoption of next-generation clinical research solutions. He also serves in industry leadership roles, including Chair of DIA’s Americas Regional Advisory Council and a co-leader of DTRA’s “Bring Your Own Technology” initiative focused on enabling sites to use preferred tools in trials.
