Craig Lipset is a globally recognized leader in clinical research innovation and modern medicine development. With more than two decades of experience, he has helped shape how trials are designed and executed—bringing research closer to patients, accelerating development timelines, and advancing the use of technology to improve participation, data quality, and operational performance.

Craig is the Founder of Clinical Innovation Partners, advising biopharmaceutical companies, technology organizations, leading universities, and the venture community on the development and adoption of next-generation clinical research solutions. He is also the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Decentralized Trials & Research Alliance (DTRA), the world’s largest non-profit focused on enabling more accessible clinical research.

Previously, Craig served for nearly a decade as Head of Clinical Innovation at Pfizer, where he led digital and patient-centric initiatives across therapeutic areas globally and helped deliver multiple industry firsts—including early fully remote trial models and new approaches to returning results to participants. He has held leadership and advisory roles across the ecosystem, including board and editorial appointments, and serves as an adjunct faculty member in health informatics and health technology programs.
