Cathy Collins is a seasoned clinical trial executive and board member with over 30 years of experience. She holds a master’s degree in nursing and completed the Owners, Presidents, and Managers (OPM) 3-year program at Harvard Business School. She has served as the board chair for 3 large non-profits in the Tampa Bay area ranging from education to the arts as well as number of other boards including the University of Tampa. Since 2015, she has been a board member of The Bank of Tampa, a $3BB privately held bank where she is on the Directors Loan Committee, Audit Committee and Compensation Committee (chair). She is a member of the Tampa Bay chapter of Women Corporate Directors (WCD).

Her professional research career includes a ground level role in the growth of the first Site Management Organization dedicated to Alzheimer’s research (Clinical Studies LTD); VP of Operations for a Goldman Sachs backed clinical research roll up (Protocare Trials -32 sites); founder/CEO of Meridien Research (5 site network) and Insearch (business development sales) which she sold to PE in 2012; site side industry consultant with clients ranging from de novo to over $40MM in revenue as well as a number of engagements with PE firms in the research space; KKR backed Headlands Research from 2019-2025 (through successful liquidity event), employee #3, holding roles of Senior VP of Site Strategy, Interim CEO 2023 (1/23-6/23), Senior Advisor and board member.

Her experience presents her as a valuable strategy partner, leader/mentor, and board member. Her professional passions include startup ventures and growing/leading teams. She is a curious, life- long learner with a wide variety of personal interests including art collecting, running and golf.
