Brandon Powell is a clinical research professional with over a decade of experience spanning clinical trial operations, site oversight, and biomedical research. He currently serves as a Principal Clinical Research Associate at Medpace, where he has supported clinical programs for nearly ten years across the full monitoring lifecycle—partnering closely with investigative sites to drive protocol compliance, data integrity, and consistent execution.

Prior to clinical operations, Brandon worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center as a Research Laboratory Technician, specializing in histology and pathology workflows. He supported a broad range of diagnostic staining techniques and managed end-to-end tissue processing—from formalin submission through paraffin embedding, sectioning, slide preparation, and staining—building a rigorous, detail-oriented approach to quality and documentation.

Brandon holds a Bachelor’s degree with distinction from Baylor University, where he studied Neuroscience and Psychology, with minors in Chemistry and Biochemistry, and completed an honors thesis examining alcohol-induced nicotine cravings.
